Social Studies and Science: Social Studies curriculum focuses on the geographic regions of California and the indigenous peoples of our area. We learn about communities and citizenship, as well as government & economics.
3rd grade has a central science unit for each trimester: Forces and Interactions, Animal and Plant Development, and Climate and weather patterns. First trimester is our unit on forces and interactions. Second trimester we explore weather, clouds and water cycle. Animal and Plant Development is the focus for trimester 3.
